I think the App Store benefits many of it's users by allowing them to access specific apps that are of interest to them. Although I am not an apple consumer, I do hear from others that it could possibly be the best thing that ever happened to them. The App Store offers it's consumers apps that interest a wide variety of people. It does not target a specific group, which helps it target a higher amount of people. I think the rules and regulations Apple came up with is an intelligent way to be able to keep their title, as well as their consumers and minimize competition. Apple's marketing scheme, is proving to be successful due to the growing amount of people joining their network. The App Store could be a revolution to technology do to the fact that it is attractive to such a large group of people.
